Sometimes you drive fast because you’re in a hurry; other times it’s just out of habit or because ‘everyone does it’. Did you know that the advantages of riding fast are very small compared to the disadvantages? Here are 5 reasons why you should reduce your speed on the road<\/p>\n

When driving at 60 km\/h in a 50 km\/h zone, you multiply by 4<\/em> the risk of accidents. At 110 km\/h in a 90 km\/h zone, you multiply multiply by 6<\/em> the risk of accidents. A few kilometers per hour less can sometimes mean the difference between life and death.<\/p>\n
