The Electric Circuit<\/a> is the first network of public charging stations for electric vehicles in Canada. It offers charging at 240 volts and 400 volts The terminals are installed in the parking lots of its many partners throughout Quebec and in Northeastern Ontario.<\/p>\n

A project that works<\/h2>\n

Since its inauguration on March 30, 2012, the Electric Circuit<\/a> has continued to expand in several regions of Quebec, and this expansion continues in new urban areas. The rollout takes into account the pace and geographic distribution of electric vehicle sales, user needs and partner business strategies.<\/p>\n

A large part of the charging needs of electric vehicle owners are met at home or at work The public charging infrastructure allows motorists to drive with peace of mind by offering them the possibility of refueling on the way when necessary.<\/p>\n

The Electric Circuit in numbers<\/h2>\n

The Electric Circuit has 325 partners who offer charging, 1,786 terminals in service, 36,777 members who have access to the terminals, 7,713 tonnes of CO2 emissions avoided and 90,120 recharges in 2019.<\/a><\/p>\n

The FQESR is delighted<\/h2>\n

The FQESR is delighted since the production of electricity in Quebec comes from renewable energy, the impact of the electric car on the environment is less than a gasoline car. It does not emit CO2<\/sub>, so it does not pollute in use. In addition, the fuel savings are significant and the maintenance of your car will cost you less too.<\/p>\n
